ASCS Sooner Region @ Cowtown Clips & Pics
April 8, 2006
To everyone's surprise, Carl Edwards made more than just an appearance at
Cowtown Saturday night after competing in the Busch race at TMS.

After never even seeing the track or his car before, it took about 1 lap for him to
get up to speed in his borrowed ASCS ride for the evening.

He started last in his heat, and ran a conservative 5th place, which started him
at the front of the B feature, which he won handily over the 16-car field. That
started him 17th in the A and he steadily worked his way up to a 10th place finish.

Just for fun, here are some video clips and pictures we shot from the night.
Please give the video's plenty of time to load - some are 3-4 laps long, so
depending on your connection speed, it may take a few to several minutes - but
it will be worth the wait! You will see a black screen until the file finishes
uploading.

And congratulations to
darinshort.com client, Sam Hafertepe, Jr. (Sam15.com) for
picking up the feature win! As always, the Cowtown staff put on a great show.
Carl Edwards in hot laps. This clip is 3 laps worth and 75MB, so it
will take a while to load - be patient! Work on something else while
it downloads if you have a slow speed connection, you can also
replay after it is finished.
