FIRST ROUND of 'INDVADERS' ANNOUNCED vs POWRi 410's at BIG O SPEEDWAY APRIL 24-25!

The POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprints National Series and the American Racer Modified Series (ARMS) will put on a pair of season-opening doubleheader events at the Big O Speedway in Ennis Texas on April 24-25 with the running of the Bluebonnet Showdown!

And today, the first round of ‘Invaders’ is being announced who will all be eligible for the special nightly ‘Invaders Bonus’ for the sprint car division...and registration for the bonus ends on Monday night, April 20.

There are 17 POWRi national touring drivers (listed below) and the Invaders Bonus will be open to all registered sprint car drivers that choose to race at this event that are not part of the POWRi national tour...so in effect, it will create a race within a race.

The bonus will be paid nightly, $500 to the highest finishing registered Invading driver – unless that Invading driver wins the A-feature, and then the bonus becomes $1,000 nightly!

Translated, the Friday A-feature pays $5,000 to win, and then it bumps up to $7,000 to win on Saturday. If a registered Invading driver happens to win both nights, they’ll take home a $14,000 weekend haul!

And here is the first round of ‘Invaders’ that have registered to compete in this event: Weston Gorham, Marcus Thomas, Austin Mundie, Carson Bolden, John Carney II, Preston Perlmutter, Christopher Townsend, Claud Estes III and Charlie Harmon.

To become a qualified sprint car ‘Invader’ for this event, it’s a very simple process and it’s free: simply email Talin at talin@t2promotions.net with your intent to race in this event by the close of business on Monday, April 20th to be eligible. Please submit your driver’s name, car number, address and contact info when emailing Talin. (If you don’t register, you can still compete in the event, you just won’t be eligible for the bonuses...so if you know you are coming, get registered today!)

The ‘Invading’ drivers will be joining the 17 POWRi national tour drivers at this event, and we will announce additional drivers that register for this fun and sizeable bonus on race week (next week).Race fans can expect the following POWRi touring series 410 sprint drivers from nine states: Ayrton Gennetten, Joe B Miller, Scotty Milan, Landon Crawley, Blake Hahn, Ryder McCutcheon, Rodney Huband, Miles Paulus, Colton Fisher, Xavier Doney, Natalie Doney, John Barnard, Roger Crockett, Gage Montgomery, Kameron Key, Jack Potter and Jason Martin.

Plus, a strong contingent of local and regional invaders will round out the field. They will all be vying for the $5,000 first place prize on Friday night and $7,000 winner’s share on Saturday night.

Each night will be a full points event for both touring series atop the 5/16th mile banked dirt track located just about six miles east of Ennis, TX (which is just south of the DFW Metroplex off of I-45). Limited Modifieds will round out the nightly racing card.

This weekend the Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) Dirt Track will light up for the first time ever to host the POWRi National Series and West Region Midget League with the running of the Texas Motor Speedway Midget Nationals, held Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st. In what will certainly become another marquee event on both the track and series schedules, the TMS Midget Championship will be two complete point events, with the opening nights winner collecting $3,000, while the finale night top dog will take home a cool $5,000. That in itself is attracting the top midgeteers in the business from coast to coast.

Since last week’s update, a pair of Indiana drivers (Rylan Gray and Tony Helton), and a Kansas driver (Hank Soares) have joined the list of Midget drivers that plan to compete in this event.

The stars and cars of the POWRi National and POWRi West will converge upon TMS plus several national invaders, as there are very few other midget and non-winged events scheduled nationally this particular weekend. PARKING & INFO FOR TMS MIDGET CHAMPIONSHIP - MAR. 20-21



The pit gate at the Lil Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track is now open, as of Thursday at 10 AM. We are selling pit passes and allowing rigs to park.

Teams arriving prior to that will need to park in the green staging lots.

If you purchase a pit pass on Friday or Saturday, you can use it for grandstand seating as well.

You can purchase pit passes or grandstand passes on each race day (FRI/SAT) upon your arrival.

Camping:
All campers not attached to race trailers must park in the blue lot for the weekend. This will also be our overflow pit parking. The Texas Motor Speedway shower house and bathrooms will be open and available.

General Parking:
All general parking for the grandstands and pit area will be located in the green lots. No personal vehicles not attached to a race trailer will be allowed in the pit area.

We are expecting a large number of entries, so we ask everyone to please park tight and work together so we can accommodate everyone.

In what will certainly become another marquee event on both the track and series schedules, the TMS Midget Championship will be two complete point events, with the opening nights winner collecting $3,000, while the finale night top dog will take home a cool $5,000. That in itself will attract the top midgeteers in the business from coast to coast.

The stars and cars of the POWRi National and POWRi West will converge upon TMS as well as many national ‘invaders’ - as there are very few other midget events scheduled nationally this particular weekend. The time changes last weekend, and sunset at the track will be at 5:30pm. Combined with daytime temps showing 80 degrees and sunny - should make for stellar racing conditions! Currently there are 35 410 Sprint Cars, 47 Super Late Models and 59 Outlaw Modifieds that have committed to race at TMS. With two complete shows on hand, it will be a super full night of racing each night!
